Special Features

• Suitable to work with a wide range of electronic instruments. The terminal consists of a ‘Main’ input and a ‘Aux’ input. Various information can be obtained from the ‘Main’ input and assigned to different variables for printing (e.g. Weight data, price, units and etc.). The ‘Aux’ input is for connecting an optional device and the data received will be stored in the internal memory and included in the print out (e.g. barcode scanner).
• Eight built-in programmable print format (4 sets for front panel selection, other 4 for accumulation functions) matching various printing needs of the user. Usage is very broad and flexible.
• Compatible with various label printers or personal computers (PC). By using software program, the output format can be custom designed for printing labels and records logging. The flexibility to choose different printers will allow the client to print different sized labels with logos, barcodes, various font types of different languages and images (Additional fonts and picture images may require optional printer memory card).
• LCD display shows the input data and operation status.
• PS/2 keyboard can be connected to provide shortcut keys for various functions like ID variables editing, reading accumulation, consecutive numbers and total reset, etc.
• Built-in time and date clock provides 12 or 24hr print format.
• Automatic reading accumulation and counter. User can choose between M+, M– or Nil for reading addition, subtraction and normal operation, respectively.
• Automatic consecutive number. Automatic serial numbers printing and increment upon each reading received.
• Once the label format has been programmed using a PC, the T-100 Data Terminal can operate independently.
• The T-100 Data Terminal is more cost effective solution than the PC- printer configuration with the same functionality. When needed, RS-485 interface (optional) can be used for long distance operation (up to 1000 m).
• User can choose between battery and AC adaptor powered models upon ordering.

Output, Input connectors and Controls

• Two input connectors, suitable for connecting different types of electronic instruments that provide the serial data output, e.g. barcode scanner, electronic balance, weighing indicator, etc.
• One output connector, usually connected to a printer or computer with serial interface.
• PS/2 keyboard, used for both input commands and ID selection, e.g. product serial number and name, expiry date, invoice number, etc.
• Accumulation M+ and M- selector switch. User selected to perform automatic reading accumulation and accumulation count for print output.
• Print format selector switch on the T-100 front panel, allows 4 print formats selection, instantaneously catering for different print format requirements, e.g. different sized label output, stock receipts, etc.
